Celebration 2017 Schedule

The following is a tentative schedule for the 2017 Feast of Tabernacles. We are planning a wide variety of activities and opportunities for worship and fellowship. With services nearly every day, we want to continually draw our focus back to the wonderful gift of God dwelling with us and celebrate this incredible fact with encouraging messages, children’s classes and worship in song and prayer.


Wednesday, October 4 – Sukkah building at 4 p.m.


Thursday, October 5

Meet & greet 12:00 p.m.  Services begin at 1 p.m.

Robert Wertz will give the sermon. We will go out to eat at a local restaurant after services.


Friday, October 6 – There will be a golf outing and an excursion to Gettysburg during the day. Services will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Jeff Endecott will give the sermon.


Sabbath, October 7 – Bible studies/seminars for all ages will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sabbath services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Mike Joseph will be leading the Bible study. Wayne Hrenyk will be preaching the sermon.

There will be a meal provided by PHCC following services. A talent show will take place in the evening and possibly a dance.


Sunday, October 8 – Services at 10:00 a.m. Sermon will be given by Gary Staszak. A family picnic at a local park will follow services.


Monday, October 9 – No services today. A trip to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is planned as well as other sites in the Lancaster area.


Tuesday, October 10 – Services at 10:00 a.m. Jack Sexton will be speaking. Afternoon activities include a trip to the Carlisle Sports Emporium.


Wednesday, October 11– Services at 10:00 a.m. Open forum Bible study. Topic will be “The Kingdom of God is Like?”. A trip to the Turkey Hill experience is planned for the afternoon.



Thursday, October 12 – Services at 11:00 a.m. Sermon by Bruce Chesney. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
